Aragon Cattery is located at rural Arcadia in Sydney and set on five magical acres where the cats enjoy their own exclusive 5 star air conditioned and heated luxury suites with huge outdoor decked sunning areas, complete with lounge suite in each! No expense has been spared and we have a marvelous vet on call to aid in the care and wellbeing of all cats.

We have been involved in the animal industry for over 20 years, in the role of breeders and also our family still owns and operates a separate boarding kennel establishment for both dogs and cats.

We do board cats, especially those we have bred, for a fee in our 5 star exclusive cat palace if the need should ever arrive. We have catered to the every need of our feline friends and any that stay with us will be guaranteed that their beloved pet receives the best of care and most of all attention. We are very exclusive and only have 14 runs in total, as this way we can allocate more individual time to each and every guest.

We also cater for all types of diets and only stock premium quality food. We have a huge selection as far as not only dry food is concerned but also in tinned, fresh, and cooked food, with all grades from pet to human quality produce. If we don't have a certain type we can usually get it in for our guests but these special requests need to made at the time of the booking. We feed twice a day and dry food is provided all day to snack on, unless otherwise instructed by the owner.

You are welcome to bring any of your babies own belongings with them, as a familiar item with their own home scent will always help to settle them quicker. We do however provide all the essentials, so if you forget this is no problem. We do however expect any belongings to be clean and flea free as we do provide an extremely clean and sterile environment and do not wish this to be infested. Also all cats must have flea treatment done if they do go outdoors at home as again we don't want the introduction of any nasty parasites. If you haven't done this and any flea dirt or evidence of ticks or fleas are present, we will automatically treat your cat at an additional cost to you.

Any cats that come to stay with us must provide a current vaccination certificate or card with a minimum of an F3 inoculation done at least 2 weeks prior to their arrival. This is to safeguard not only your own baby but all others as well, and this should be done on a yearly basis for the rest of the cats' life.

Our suites are very spacious and fully covered so your baby can still sit outside even if it's raining. All cats are locked inside of a night, but they can still look through the glass sliding doors to see what is going on outside. The rooms are very well lit and the whole cattery faces north and is up high on the hill so the sunshine streams in all day, especially in winter. The cattery is fully insulated, as it is actually an approved house and is complete with reverse cycle air conditioning, to provide coolness in summer and warmth in winter.

We have 8 of these and they come with the outdoor decked areas, lounge suite, huge scratching pole, soft igloo bed and mink blankets, jumbo litter tray (one for each cat), ceramic water bowl, stainless steel food bowls, dry food bowls, placemats for food bowls, box to play in and plenty of toys to provide hours of amusement. These suites are large enough to have 4 cats from the one house sharing. They are 2m wide x 2.5m long inside with a timber and vinyl floor, solid gyprock painted walls and clear Perspex sheeting on the front facing the hallway, with wire above and on top of the area. Then the glass sliding door opens and goes out onto a huge decked area which has clear Perspex sheeting around the bottom half of the condo divisions and thick gauged wire above to the aluminum roof. This area is 4m long x 2m wide.

We have 6 of these suites and they are more so inside apartments as they do not have the outdoor decked verandah areas off them. Instead of a sliding door they have a glass sliding window, which opens up to allow our guests to wander out onto their own private huge window box balconies. There is a sunning shelf to laze about on up under the window sill, huge tiered scratching pole, gyprock painted walls between each condo, opaque Perspex on the front of the run facing the hallway with thick gauged wire above and over the area. They come fitted out with a thick covered pet mat on the sunning shelf, soft igloo bed and mink blanket, jumbo litter tray (one for each cat), ceramic water bowl, stainless steel food bowls, dry food bowls, placemats for food bowls, box to play in and plenty of toys to provide hours of amusement. These condos are large enough to have 2 cats from the one house sharing. They are 3m wide x 2.5m long inside with a timber and vinyl floor.

We are only open by appointment and inspections are welcome also by appointment. We do not operate in conventional hours so you are able to drop off and collect your loved one after hours and on weekends.

The charges are a day rate and include everything. Discounts are given for 2 or more cats sharing the same suite (from the same family of course) and also for cats that I have bred as stated above in the pricing section. In comparison to all other catteries ours is by far the biggest in each suite space and as we are set on 5 acres the cats enjoy a beautiful quiet outlook, where they can lay back on their lounge suite in the sun and watch the birds, pony and bunnies at play.
